New York for the Holidays
I'm heading off to NYC Thursday for the holidays. I normally just go to NJ, but now my sister lives in NYC and the rest of my family is in NJ, so my time is split.
As typical of the holiday season, there's really no good shows going on the few evenings I could go out. I did find out that Elysian Fields are playing Joe's Pub Friday night, so I'm going to go to that. Should be good.
Need to eat some good foods, too. That post Kathryn did about the bacon has me intrigued...

There's some good stuff, but, yeah, not all that much and what there is seems to be heavy on the live comedy and Jew-puns.
I would spend my time perhaps gawking at the 5th Avenue window displays and at various museums.
